We respect your privacy: we do not require user account registration, we do not collect personal names, emails, phone numbers, or passwords, and we never sell your personal data.
1 Information We Do Not Collect
We believe in minimum data collection. When using Baal Krishna Katha, you are NOT required to provide:
No User Account: You can access all stories, audio recitations, daily verses, and interactive features without creating an account or logging in.
No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
No Precise Location Data: We do not track or store your GPS or exact physical location.
No Financial or Payment Data: All financial transactions, subscriptions, and billing are processed directly and securely through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We never see or store your credit/debit card numbers.
2 Local Data Stored on Your Device
To deliver a personalized, seamless devotional experience, the app stores certain configuration data locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms (e.g., UserDefaults and local caching):
Language Preference: Your selected reading language (English, Hindi, or Bengali).
Daily Habits & Quiz Progress: Checkmarks indicating completion of daily virtues (e.g., morning prayers, honoring elders) and quiz scores.
Audio & Haptic Settings: Your preferences for sound effects, flute background audio, and vibration feedback.
Audio & Image Cache: Temporary local caching of devotional audio streams and story illustrations to optimize offline playback and conserve bandwidth.
This data remains on your physical device and is never uploaded to our servers.

Subscription Terms & Apple Billing:
Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews every month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Account Charging: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current monthly period at the price displayed in the app.
Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions after purchase.

4 Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)
For users who choose not to subscribe to the Ad-Free version, the app uses Google AdMob (Google LLC) to display advertisements (such as interstitial transitions and optional rewarded blessing ads) to support ongoing maintenance and content creation.
AdMob may collect and process certain non-personally identifiable diagnostic and device information, including:
Device identifiers (e.g., Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) where permitted by iOS App Tracking Transparency permissions, or vendor identifiers).
IP address (used to infer general geographical region such as country or city).
Ad interaction data (such as views, clicks, and impressions).
Baal Krishna Katha is designed as a family-friendly cultural and spiritual application suitable for all ages. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to us:
We do not knowingly collect, request, or store any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area).
We do not provide social networking features, open chat, or public profiling.
Ads delivered through Google AdMob adhere to family-appropriate advertising guidelines, and users or parents can permanently eliminate all ads through the Ad-Free subscription.
