ModelVista Privacy Policy

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We respect your right to confidentiality. When using ModelVista:

• No Personal Identification: We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
• No Accounts or Login: You can launch and use the app immediately without creating an account.
• No Device Fingerprinting: We do not track Advertising Identifiers (IDFA), Vendor IDs, or location data.
• No Analytics or Telemetry: No analytics SDKs, session recording, or usage monitoring frameworks are embedded in the app.

2. On-Device File Access & Processing

ModelVista allows you to inspect 3D models across various formats, including USDZ, GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, and DAE.

• Sandboxed Document Access: When you open a 3D model using the system file picker, access is strictly handled through iOS/iPadOS secure app sandboxing.
• Local Memory Only: Your 3D models are parsed and rendered in device memory. Files never leave your device and are never uploaded to any remote server or cloud service.

3. Device Permissions & Usage

ModelVista requests minimal system permissions strictly for user-initiated actions:

• Add Photos / Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription): When you tap the Export MP4 button to create a cinematic 60 FPS turntable video of your 3D model, the app requests permission to save the generated video directly into your Photos app.
  Note: The app only requests write-only permission to save the video you explicitly exported. It does not read, inspect, or upload any existing photos or videos in your library.

4. Third-Party Services & Advertising

ModelVista contains zero third-party advertisements and integrates no third-party tracking, profiling, or data brokerage tools. We do not participate in any ad exchange networks.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Because ModelVista does not collect any personally identifiable information from any user, it is fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent international regulations. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect future software updates or changes in legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date.
